Kool & The Gang Raise Funds for Kids at 1st Annual Ronald McDonald Family Room Celebrity Charity Concert Benefit


WHAT: The Ronald McDonald Family Room at the Maria Fareri Children's
Hospital at Westchester Medical Center will host its 1st Annual
Charity Concert Benefit featuring Grammy Award-winning performers
Kool & The Gang at the White Plains Performing Arts Center.

This benefit concert will include a live auction with special guest
host, Shon Gables, CBS 2 News This Morning Anchor, as well as
performances by the McDonald's Gospel Choir. Auction will feature
exciting items such as a VIP Sopranos 5th season Premiere and After
Party package, a Vespa 2.6 Motor scooter with Barbour Quilted
Riding Jacket, An Exclusive Vera Wang Cotillion Gown, gifts from
Gucci, Tod's and a special celebrity guest appearance from Anthony
Haden Guest. Pre-concert festivities will include a special food
and wine reception and silent auction to be held at Atlanta Bread
Company in White Plains.

All proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald Family Room, a "home
away from home" for parents and siblings of sick children staying
at the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical
Center.

Concert ticket contribution levels are $250, $500 and $1000. Ticket
prices to attend only the food and wine cocktail reception/silent
auction are $75 per person. All ticket sales are 100% tax
