Evolving Systems Extends Its Leadership of the North American LNP Market With the Launch of LsmsXpress(TM)

(NASDAQ:EVOL), a leading provider of software solutions and services to the wireless, wireline and IP carrier market, today announced the launch of LsmsXpress(TM) -- a product targeted for carriers looking to reduce the total cost of ownership for their number portability routing requirements.

The LsmsXpress solution is a full function, small footprint Local Service Management System (LSMS) that provides the interface between the Number Porting Administration Center (NPAC) and the network elements that route calls. It is designed to meet the needs of carriers who want to manage core Local Number Portability (LNP) functions in-house rather than using a service bureau.

A vendor independent solution, LsmsXpress employs an OSI stack optimized specifically for LNP transactions which, combined with its low overhead, enables carriers to implement the LNP provisioning process cost-effectively and efficiently. Evolving Systems also offers a suite of services for carriers looking to transition from the service bureau environment to a cost-effective in-house LSMS solution.
