Antepo's Lead SIP Architect to Speak at SIP Summit 2005 on Integrating Presence and IM into Communications Services
Summit Will Be Held at the Pacific Telecommunications Council Conference in Hawaii Next Week
NEW YORK, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Antepo, Inc. (http://www.antepo.com/), a pioneer of secure, interoperable Enterprise Instant Messaging (EIM), today announced that its Lead SIP Architect, Gaurav Khandpur, will speak at the Winter SIP Summit, January 16-18 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Summit will be held in conjunction with the Pacific Telecommunications Council 2005 (PTC '05) Conference, an annual event that brings together the leading telecom and IT leaders throughout the Pacific Hemisphere.
Mr. Khandpur will participate in the Breakout Session, Integrating SIMPLE, on January 17 at 2:45 PM. The session will feature a panel of experts discussing the benefits and best practices of integrating Presence and IM into future communications services leveraging SIMPLE (SIP for Instant Messaging and Presence Leveraging Extensions) -- a standard protocol recently approved by the Internet Engineering Task Force. Other panelists include executives from NeuStar and Cisco Systems.
"We are happy to have Antepo represented at this winter's SIP Summit, since the company has been an early adopter of the SIP/SIMPLE protocol," said Jeff Pulver, President and CEO of Pulver.com. "With his experience as a developer and SIP architect as well as a student of SIP co-developer Professor Henning Schulzrinne, Gaurav Khandpur brings both practical and theoretical insight to our Integrating SIMPLE panel."
Mr. Khandpar and Antepo CEO Maxime Seguineau will be available for interviews with the press throughout the event. To arrange an appointment, contact Kevin McLaughlin at 877-505-2258 x902 or kmclaughlin@publicipartners.com.
