Wisair and ASUS Partner to Jointly Demo Innovative Entertainment Applications With UWB Technology at CES

Wisair and ASUS Are Joining Forces to Set the Groundwork for Advanced PCs and Electronic Devices Featuring Ultra Wide Band (UWB) Technology

LOS GATOS, Calif., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- A leading provider of wireless solutions - ASUS and Ultra Wide Band (UWB) chipsets and solutions leader Wisair, are collaborating to demonstrate Wisair's UWB technology integrated in ASUS consumer electronic products. The partnership was formed in anticipation of the evolving needs of the consumer electronic and PC sectors and to bring Ultra Wide Band wireless connectivity faster to market.

ASUS and Wisair will demonstrate data transfer and content sharing of video, audio and graphic content through the ASUS S-presso entertainment PC, dubbed the center-piece of home entertainment, to TVs, PCs and other CE and PC equipment. Live wireless demonstrations will be displayed at the up and coming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) at the Las Vegas Convention Center, January 6 - 9, 2005.
