(NASDAQ: LTON), a leading provider of wireless value-added services in China, today announced that it has been ranked the 16th fastest-growing technology company in the Asia-Pacific region by Deloitte Technology in its Fast 500 Asia Pacific for 2004.

Conducted by the global technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) industry group of Deloitte, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific is a ranking of the leading technology companies in the region, based on their revenue growth by percentage over the last three years. Along with its Fast 500 counterparts in North America and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the Fast 500 Asia Pacific is recognized as one of the most objective business performance awards in the global TMT industry.

Chinese technology companies stand out on this year's list, accounting for 18% of the top 500 and 30% of the top 20 companies. Linktone was ranked fifth among 90 Chinese companies in the top 500. Of the six Chinese winners ranked in the top 20, four represent the Internet and wireless value-added services sector, demonstrating particularly strong growth for the industry.
