VH1's Music Radar

Wed., December 8, 2004 - Tues., December 14, 2004

NEW YORK, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Notable this week . . .

Notable News -- The relationship between artists and their fans has always been a source of much fascination. Now, in VH1's new series, entitled "Baileys The Set," this bond is examined in a unique way -- both on-stage and off. Premiering on Tuesday, December 14 at 11 pm, the first installment in this fresh, new three part series, "Baileys The Set" sees Duran Duran performing some of their classic worldwide hits as well as music from their new album 'Astronaut' in front of a small studio audience at Sony Stages in Los Angeles. In stark contrast to the arena and stadium shows that they have been doing over the past year, this one-hour special showcases the band in a rare and intimate setting. Inter-cut with this performance are anecdotal interviews with the band members and some of their most dedicated followers.
