Mpower Communications Services 75 United Oil Stations with Dedicated Internet Connectivity

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mpower Communications Corp. (AMEX:MPE), a leading provider of broadband high-speed Internet access and local and long distance voice services, today announced that it has been selected by United Oil to provide communications services to 75 of its locations in Southern California.

Under the terms of the three-year agreement, Mpower is providing Internet connectivity and dedicated IP addressing to connect more than 70 United Oil gas stations to the company's main corporate headquarters, which is also wired with Mpower data service. With high-speed Internet connections from Mpower, United Oil is able to better manage its station accounting and fuel deliveries.
