The First Online Wizard Certification Course Launched Online By SCIFI Brings Magic to the Masses

Master Illusionist and Magic Consultant, Paul Kieve, Develops First Ever Wizard Curriculum Exclusively for Sci Fi

NEW YORK, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- SCIFI today launched a one of a kind online Wizard Education and Certification Program -- http://www.scifi.com/earthsea/wizard, as part of the premiere of SCI FI CHANNEL's two-part original miniseries, Legend of Earthsea -- based on the award-winning books by Ursula K. Le Guin.

In the tradition of Sorcerer's apprentices everywhere, the Wizard Certification curriculum enables magic aficionados to, like in the Legend of develop a mastery of wizardry and magic.

SCI FI's online Wizard Education and Certification Program puts a high- tech spin on magic by enabling Internet users to hone their skills with a series of web seminars or "Web-inars" each designed to instruct on everything from "spells" to "mind reading" to the mechanics of "sleight of hand. Users can download their official Certificate of Wizardry upon successful completion of a comprehensive final exam.

SCI FI selected Paul Kieve, preeminent magic expert and stage illusionist, to develop the exclusive Wizard Certification curriculum. Kieve previously served as Physical Magic Consultant on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and as personal magic tutor to Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry. Kieve is the official magic consultant to the Guinness World Records and he, personally, holds two Guinness world records in the magic and performing arts categories.
