Malibu Valley Inn & Spa Debuts Website to Showcase New Resort, Educate Community @ www.malibuvalleyinnandspa.com

CALABASAS, Calif., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Malibu Valley Inn & Spa, an upcoming full service resort located in the Santa Monica Mountains adjacent to the City of Calabasas, announced today the debut of a new website (www.malibuvalleyinnandspa.com). The website, which was first introduced at The Oaks at Calabasas Annual Homeowner's Association's Meeting November 17, showcases the concept of the environmentally sound "Green Resort" to residents of the City and surrounding areas.

The website features illustrations of resort amenities and benefits to the community, such as equestrian facilities, restaurants, and a demonstration wine making facility which is open to the public. Visitors to the website are invited to leave their comments and post questions. The website will be updated with a "Question of the Week" which has been posed by the public.

The Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is due in January and will be circulated by the City of Calabasas on their website www.cityofcalabasas.com. For more information, contact Tom Bartlett, City Planner at (818) 878-4225.

"We believe that the Malibu Valley Inn & Spa is a tremendous asset and resource to our community," said Brian Boudreau, long-term Calabasas resident and owner of Malibu Valley Farms, located on the site of the resort, east of Las Virgenes Road. "We are trying to create an environment that everyone -- from the local equestrian to the day-spa visitor can enjoy."

Upon its completion, Malibu Valley Inn & Spa will be among the State of California's first "Green Resorts" with its unique design aimed to showcase and protect the environment. The spa will utilize recycled building materials, energy efficient heating and cooling systems and conceptual landscaping which uses the existing native plant community. The landscaping will also extend the rural "feel" of the area along the Mulholland Scenic Corridor by shielding the views of the buildings.
