Joystar Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire Vacation and Cruise Resources, Inc.

Deal Includes 50 Year Old, Surfside Trips 'n Travels, and Miami Cruise Center

IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Joystar, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: JYSR) , a leading provider of syndicated technology, hosting and support services to the travel agent community, announced today that the company has signed a letter of intent to acquire Miami, Florida based, Vacation and Cruise Resources, Inc., (VCI). VCI operates Surfside Trips 'n Travels, a 50 year old, nationally recognized cruise agency and its Miami Cruise Center support operation for Independent Contractors. The financial terms of the transaction have not yet been disclosed.

The Miami Cruise Center has generated over 30 million dollars in sales in the last five years and has been recognized as a Carnival Top Account; a Cunard Inner Circle Agency; a Holland America Centurion Agency; a Norwegian Cruise Lines Capitan's Club Agency; a Princess I-Excel Agency and had acquired Key Account status with Celebrity and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. The current staff boasts over 125 years of cruise sales experience and will serve as a resource and support center for Joystar's rapidly growing national network of home based travel agents.

Two of the unique marketing support features of Vacation and Cruise Resources is its 80,000 member Vacation and Cruise Club and its twenty year old, one-hour radio show that is broadcast each Saturday from Miami, "The Cruise Capital of the World." The travel club produces a full color, "The Informed Traveler" newsletter that features cruise and vacation specials to the clubs national membership. Joystar plans on substantially increasing the club membership by adding additional club benefits including special "value added" cruises and vacations, which will be escorted by selected Joystar home based agents.

Larry Norman, Sr. VP of Sales and Manager of Joystar said, "The staff of the Miami Cruise Center is very excited about joining the Joystar family and they are looking forward to working with Joystar's national network of home based agents."

Mr. Norman continued, "With the addition of the Vacation and Cruise Center's marketing programs, Joystar's competitive edge will continue to grow and we are comfortable that we will soon have over 1,000 home based agents. The acquisition of Vacation and Cruise Resources would greatly enhance Joystar's business model. Their experienced support staff would offer a tremendous service to our home based agent network in the fastest growing and most profitable travel segment, the cruise industry."
