Autodesk Revises Quarterly Dividend Payment Date

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Dec. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Autodesk Inc. (NASDAQ:ADSK) today corrected the payment date for the $0.015 per share cash dividend which was approved by the Board of Directors on December 9, 2004. The cash dividend, which is being paid for the third quarter of fiscal 2005, is payable January 7, 2005 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 27, 2004. The company previously announced that it will discontinue its quarterly dividend after the March 2005 payment.

The amount of the dividend payment reflects the previously announced stock split, which is payable December 20, 2004 to those who were shareholders of record at the close of business on December 6, 2004.
