not a cult plans to release two art books, seven poetry books and two albums over the next six months from such prominent artists and poets as Paul W Waddell and Buddy Wakefield. not a cult also plans to manage artists and produce gallery shows.

Its first book, available for pre-order and soon to be carried in bookstores throughout the world, is TMRWLND: The Secret Stays Unknown - The Art of Dereck Seltzer & Tina St. Claire.

TMRWLND, spoken as "Tomorrow Land," is the creative brainchild of Los Angeles-based artists Tina St. Claire and Dereck Seltzer, who in 2013 created a zine that showcased the black-and-white illustrations for which they became best known. The hardcover edition of TMRWLND is an unabridged compendium of the first three sold-out zines, with additional previously unpublished material created before the untimely death of Tina St. Claire in 2016. With over 100 original drawings, designs and patterns, the book provides a unique look at the artistic process of these two artists.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of TMRWLND will go to an artist's grant fund that Hart is establishing.

"We're very proud to be reaching wider audiences in L.A. and worldwide with the works of great artists and writers," Lisi said. "We believe there's nothing like not a cult and that there is a strong demand for meaningful work that transcends widespread obsession with pop culture."

"not a cult places priority on the proper treatment of those who live in service of art, as their representation of truth and fiction moves and stirs, giving refuge to spectators and participants," Hart said. "We aim to give back the patron name and honor to those who fancy art, in all its forms."
