The American Institute of Architects and CSpence Group Launch a Film Challenge Targeting Millennials As Part of AIA's "Look Up" Campaign
SAN FRANCISCO, June 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CSpence Group (CSG) announced today the launch of a film challenge as part of the American Institute of Architects' (AIA) "Look Up" campaign. CSG is a San Francisco-based creative agency that collaborates with organizations to develop purpose-driven media campaigns to reach their audiences in impactful ways. The film challenge aims to bring together emerging filmmakers, AIA emerging professionals and architects to create short films that inspire the world to "Look Up" and experience a new level of appreciation for architects and their positive impact on our communities.
The AIA's "Look Up" campaign capitalizes on the original thinking architects bring to solving problems - the ability to imagine and visualize solutions.
"The mission of the film challenge is to inspire the world to Look Up and experience a whole new level of appreciation for architects and their positive impact on our society," said Courtney Spence, CEO and co-founder of CSpence Group. "We are thrilled to partner with the AIA on this incredible journey to tap emerging creatives to tell the stories of unique vision, community and impact."
The AIA collaborated with CSG to produce the first documentary for the "Look Up" campaign, "An Architect's Story: Chris Downey," a film featuring Chris Downey, an inspiring architect in San Francisco who is pioneering design for the blind, which premiered during the AIA Conference in May as part of a three-year integrated campaign.
The "Look Up" Film challenge launches today and is accepting registrations until July 15, 11:59PM. For more information visit http://ilookup.org/filmchallenge.
