Foot Locker Debuts New Spot Featuring Damian Lillard And Tracy McGrady

Featuring One of the Holidays' Hottest Styles, adidas Originals ZX Flux, Foot Locker's Humorous Campaigns Continue with a Parody of T-Mac's 'Rookie' Season

NEW YORK, Dec. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Foot Locker, Inc. (NYSE: FL), the New York-based specialty athletic retailer, continues to celebrate the holiday season by debuting a new, 30-second commercial starring NBA star Damian Lillard and retired NBA-great Tracy McGrady. Titled "Rookie," the commercial showcases the brand new adidas Originals ZX Flux shoe, available now at Foot Locker stores nationwide.

McGrady, who retired from the NBA after a lengthy career and now plays professionally in China, sets himself up for a classic Foot Locker ribbing when he tells Lillard at a holiday party that having multiple pairs of the adidas Originals ZX Flux shoe is a must so "young guys like us" don't get caught looking old.

"Damian and Tracy were great to work with to present some of our newest adidas offerings this holiday season," said Stacy Cunningham, Executive Vice President of Marketing for Foot Locker.
