At the age of 13, a young Makasi had his first brush with the turntables that
absolutely blew him away. It prompted him to buy vinyl records and figure out how he could
manipulate the music. From that moment on, he has never looked back and dedicated his life
to music.



DJ Makasi [http://www.djmakasi.com ] has lived in New York and LA where he learned to
mix music. His greatest life influence had been DJ Am, because of whom Makasi learnt
mixing all kinds of genres in his unique way.



During his musical journey, he had the honours to play with some of the biggest
talents on stage like Flo Rida, T Pain, Nicole Scherzinger, Wil.I.Am., 50 Cent, N.E.R.D.,
Ne Yo, and the list goes on. Because of his wide range of music, he has even got to play
at the after party in Ceasar's Palace - The Colloseum (Las Vegas) with Leonard Cohen. He
has shared the turntables with notable DJs like Chuckie, Laidback Luke, A Trak, Martin
Solveig, Afrojack, R3hab and Nervo.



While having the world's greatest clubs on lock, Makasi has played at major music
festivals like the Summer Festival, Winter Music Conference, Daydream, Laundry Day and
Sunset Fest not to mention, Tomorrowland.
