LAS VEGAS, April 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- In celebration of Mexican Independence Day weekend, Mexican musician, composer and record producer, Marco Antonio Solis, will perform inside The AXIS Powered by Monster at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Friday, Sept. 12 at 9 p.m. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, May 2 at 10 a.m.

Marco Antonio Solis is one of the most important figures in the rise of Mexican and Latin music to world prominence. Over the past three decades, Solis has launched group and solo careers, resulting in best-selling albums including "En Vivo," "Mas de Mi Alma," "Tu Amor o Tu Desprecio" and "Trozos de Mi Alma, Vol. 2," which earned Solis a Grammy nomination for Best Latin Pop Album. During his extensive career, Solis has had more than 30 entries on Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks chart, including several number one hits. His most recent album, "Gracias Por Estar Aqui," was released on Oct. 22, 2013 and debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart.
