Musitek to debut NoteReader at MacWorld/iWorld



OJAI, Calif., March 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- This week, Musitek Corporation will debut SmartScore NoteReader: the world's first music-reading mobile app at the MacWorld/iWorld conference in San Francisco, March 27 through 29.

SmartScore NoteReader is a smartphone derivative of SmartScore: Musitek's popular music-scanning software for Windows and Macintosh. The basic NoteReader app is free and allows users to capture multiple pages of a musical score and play the music back through their device. The In-app upgrade to NoteReader Premier ($9.99) allows music files to be sent to any e-mail address and/or to Dropbox or Google Drive. Recognized music can be sent to the owner or friends and colleagues as SmartScore (.enf), MIDI (.mid) or MusicXML (.xml) files. SmartScore .enf files will load into Musitek's free SmartScore Player, appear as standard music notation and play back in high-fidelity. A Karaoke feature displays moving lyrics with familiar bouncing ball while playing back. Anyone can download and install the SmartScore Player from the Musitek website.

NoteReader operates on both Apple iOS as well as Android devices and is expected to be available for downloading on iTunes and Google Play by the end of April.
