Wall Street Dead aHead Networking Event(TM) Merges the Music and Financial Interests of Many
NEW YORK, Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- As stereotypes of Wall Street titans reign, thanks to movies like Wall Street, most people would probably not guess that The Grateful Dead still harbors very dedicated fans within, of all things, the world of finance. But the fact is, participants at Wall Street Dead aHead Networking Events(TM) know that both the world of finance and the Dead are quite alive and ready to party in just the way the legendary band would certainly approve.
The visionary behind this successful series of events that have rapidly built a following worthy of the "Dead Head" status, is jam band aficionado and money manager Deborah Solomon. When asked about her inspiration for creating one of the most ticket-coveted events, she'll tell you that concert attendance and the willingness to share her personal love for The Grateful Dead with her Wall Street counterparts helped form the basis for many of her very long term business relationships, many of whom she now counts as friends.
"Concerts bring an energy that is priceless, long lasting and memorable. I believe this merger of networking with the music our attendees love creates a natural and easy environment conducive to forming new relationships that are founded on the commonality of love for music and work in finance," explains Ms. Solomon.
With two sold out events to date, attendees are already pre-registering for their tickets for the next event slated to be held on Tuesday, January 28(th, )2014 in Manhattan at Suite 36, located at 16 West 36(th) Street.
The event will feature a concert by The Deadbeats; open-bar beer and wine with specialty cocktails; appetizers and sponsor bags--and for ultimate networking, a coveted attendance roster with contact information that also lists each attendee's favorite Grateful Dead song.
For this upcoming event, Wall Street Dead aHead affiliated charity is HeadCount - a non-partisan organization dedicated to registering voters and promoting participation in democracy, all through the power of music. With a board of directors that includes Bob Weir and a network of 200 artists and 10,000 volunteers, HeadCount works every day to give the music community a greater voice in this country and make the world a better place.
In sharing her excitement for this next event, Ms. Solomon said, "As past attendees will testify, lasting business relationships and friendships are more readily formed in an environment that is more relaxed than that of a mainstream conference. We are looking forward to enjoying great live music while sipping specialty cocktails and networking with like-minded people."
The specialty cocktails made with 1800 Tequila, Three Olives Vodka and Tin Cup, Colorado Whiskey will be provided by Proximo Spirits.
