Vme TV Takes Viewers on a Journey to the North of Spain

Two special programs will offer cultural insight of a long lasting tradition, the pilgrimage through the Way of St. James

MIAMI, Nov. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Vme TV will broadcast two specials that will take viewers on a cultural journey to the North of Spain to Santiago de Compostela. The two programs, "El Camino a Santiago" and "A Santiago Voy," will depict an enlightening experience through the voyage known as the 'Way of St. James.' Both specials will air on Thanksgiving Day, November 28 at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. ET, respectively.

El Camino a Santiago
In this documentary, Spanish journalist Marian de la Fuente brings Galicia closer to America, tracing the steps of the traditional pilgrimage, 'Camino de Santiago.' During this program, she interviews those who make this incredible journey, shares their experiences and the allure of Galicia's countryside and culture. A Santiago Voy
In a comedic tale of folklore and intrigue, 'A Santiago Voy' shares the story of Manuel Chirbes and his family and their desire to build a family business near the Way of St. James. After Manuel invests all his savings to buy a hostel located near the famous pilgrimage path, the Chirbes family realizes that the hostel is instead located in a village close to the road and not on the route taken by pilgrims. Unwilling to accept the failure of his investment, Manuel uses all his wit and charm to attract tenants to their hostel. Visit www.vmetv.com/shows/a-santiago-voy for a preview of their adventures.
