Downtown Freedom
Blast

Thursday, July 4th;
event begins at 6:30
p.m.; fireworks will
launch at 10 p.m.
from the Regions
When: Tower


Where: Indiana War Memorial
Grounds

What to Do: Title sponsor Donatos
will be selling
pizza by the slice
and entire pizzas.

The Royal Pin Leisure
Centers Kids Area
will include
carnival games,
bounce house, face
painters and more.


Indianapolis Colts
Stage located on
Michigan Street in
front of the Indiana
War Memorial (live
entertainment from
Lemon Wheel & David
Campbell)


Indiana Craft Beer
Garden in Veterans
Memorial Plaza
(between Michigan
and North Streets
and Pennsylvania and
Meridian Streets)
featuring six local
breweries and cash
bar. Coolers will
not be permitted in
the beer garden.


AAA Insurance
Military Area
located on North
Street is an
interactive showcase
saluting Indiana
soldiers. Various
branches of the
military will be
onsite with obstacle
courses, simulators,
and more!


Fireworks Grand
Finale sponsor the
Hoosier Lottery will
be selling raffle
tickets for their
Independence Day
Millionaire Raffle.


Restrictions: North Street and
Michigan Street
between Meridian and
Pennsylvania will
close at 10 a.m. on
Thursday, July
4thand will remain
closed until after
the fireworks.



The one block area
surrounding the
Regions Tower will
close at 9:30 p.m.
North and south bound
streets affected
include Pennsylvania
and Delaware; east
and west bound
streets include Ohio
and New York.


Personal fireworks
are not permitted on
the event grounds.


The simulcast
soundtrack will be
heard on 93.1 WIBC,
97.1 Hank FM &
Listen In: B105.7.


Media Access: Event partner WXIN/
Fox 59 will produce
an exclusive two-
hour live program
leading up to the
fireworks display
and will air the
fireworks in their
entirety at 10 pm.


Media wishing to
cover the event
prior to Thursday
should contact Lisa
Wall no later than
10 a.m. on
Wednesday, July 3rd.


Day-of interviews
can be scheduled
between the hours of
8a - 10a & 4p - 8p,
but roof access will
be restricted on the
4th.
