Jeanne Jolly To Headline The Mariposa Music Festival To Benefit Children With Autism
8 Musical Acts to Perform, Saturday, July 27(th) at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre
CARY, N.C., July 22, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Mariposa School for Children with Autism announces The Mariposa Music Festival, featuring headline act, Jeanne Jolly, plus performances by local bluegrass favorites The Outliers, and rock groups; Terry Anderson and the OAK Team, A City Apart, Mind the Gap, and Ira Planner and the Rank Outsiders.
The Mariposa Music Festival, hosted on Saturday, July 27(th), from 4:00pm -11:00pm at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, NC, will raise awareness of Autism and other developmental delays. Event proceeds will help the Mariposa School for Children with Autism continue to offer important educational programming.
Tickets for this exciting event are on sale now, including $25 Reserved seating and $15 Lawn seating (a $3 discount is available for military, seniors and students, when showing valid ID). Headliner Singer/songwriter, Jeanne Jolly is a diverse, classically trained vocalist and her voice is said to embody the "early belting power of Linda Ronstadt" (MetroMusicScene, VA) combined with "the delicate lilt of Alison Krauss" (NC Metro Magazine). Jolly was the recipient of NC Metro Magazine's award for "Best Local Musician" in 2010, 2011, and recently joined the family of Grammy-nominated, NC-based group, The Foreign Exchange.

About Jeanne Jolly
Singer/songwriter Jeanne Jolly began her music career as the featured vocalist for Grammy Award winning jazz trumpeter Chris Botti. Born in North Carolina, Jolly was the recipient of Western Carolina University's Young Alumni Award and has earned a Masters in Vocal Performance from New England Conservatory.
