TORONTO, June 4, 2013 /CNW/ - City today announced it has secured a
three-year deal for exclusive Canadian broadcast rights to the GRAMMY Awards(®),which includes both the live awards ceremony and The GRAMMY(®) Nomination Concert Live event. The announcement was made today as part of Rogers Media's 2013
Upfront presentation.
Honouring music's most popular and accomplished artists,the 56(th) Annual GRAMMY Awards will broadcast from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and air live on
City on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014 at 8 p.m. ET.
The agreement, which runs through 2016, sees the GRAMMY Awards return to City after 19 years. City previously televised the GRAMMY Awards in 1994 and 1995.
