ORRVILLE, Ohio, June 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The makers of Folgers® Coffee and multi-platinum recording artist Gavin DeGraw are pleased to announce Sawyer F. from Winston Salem, NC as the Grand Prize Winner in the Folgers Jingle Contest. After competing against nine other finalists in a nationwide online vote and final judging, Sawyer's one-of-a-kind rendition of the iconic Folgers Best Part of Wakin' Up(TM) jingle earned him a $25,000 prize. Sawyer's winning jingle also earns him the opportunity to have his entry featured in a future Folgers Coffee commercial.

Hundreds of creative musicians from across the country shared their unique spin on the Folgers jingle from January 22 through March 6, 2013. Qualified entries were narrowed down to a group of ten finalists. From May 15 through June 19, 2013, the ten finalist entries were posted to www.Folgers.com/jingle for a nationwide online vote. The Grand Prize Winning rendition of the Folgers jingle was awarded to the entry with the highest total number of points determined by combining Final Judging score and the points awarded based on online voting results.
