Supernatural Girlz, (http://www.supernaturalgirlz.com) debuted to an unheard of audience of 35,000 in mid-March. The Girlz broadcast every Saturday night from 9 - 11:00 PM EST and cover paranormal topics as well as leading edge alternative health.
Charles Clements, Radio Market Development executive with Commotion, Inc. is duly impressed with the Girlz audience numbers. "To put this in perspective, here in Texas we have an established terrestrial radio station that has worked its way up to 35,000 over a period of years. It is a testament to the talent of Olsen and Baker that they have found their audience immediately and it is growing so quickly. People know what is good radio and what is worth listening to, and clearly that is Supernatural Girlz," says Clements.
The show, available worldwide on the Internet, begins with banter between the two hosts about the events in the "normal" side of their lives such as kids, gardening and the weather. The discussion quickly turns to the latest paranormal news and the Girlz' own paranormal adventures, of which there are many.
The show's guests are a variety of experts and celebrities. From Charlie Chaplin's son, Michael, author of A Fallen God, to legend in UFO history, Betty Andreasson.
Olsen is a seasoned radio guest herself with appearances on Coast to Coast AM and The Jeff Rense Show. "Sometimes that two hours on Saturday night is the absolute wildest roller coaster ride, yet I wouldn't have it any other way. We have met so many wonderful people through the show, guests and audience members," adds Olsen.
"We have excellent guests who trust us," adds Baker, "and a great audience that asks intelligent questions. It all makes for a terrific show." The show's attraction reaches beyond the living. The Girlz are often paid a visit on air by guests from the other side.
Helene, a world-renowned psychic medium has been known to communicate during the show with dead relatives who have a message for a scheduled guest or even a caller. Sometimes entire groups of the dead, associated with guests will come along, as in the case of popular guest Robin Foy from The Scole Experiment in the U.K. "Twenty-two dead people filled up the room, in period dress," says Baker. "I will never forget it!"
The audience enjoys this extra dimension that Olsen and Baker offer. Everyone is on the edge of their seats and no one knows exactly what is going to happen next.
