LOS ANGELES, May 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of the West is once again the presenting sponsor of the Newport Beach Jazz Festival, which takes place May 31 through June 2 in Newport Beach, California. The bank is currently in its fifth year as a supporter, and recently signed a three-year extension to remain the presenting sponsor of the festival.

Known as Southern California's most famous smooth jazz festival, the three-day Newport Beach Jazz Festival attracts over 10,000 music fans, making this venue one of the largest events of its kind on the West Coast. More than 20 artists will perform during the course of the weekend, including Grammy Award winning artists Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Al Jarreau, and Latin jazz icon Poncho Sanchez.

Besides the Newport Beach Jazz Festival, Bank of the West will sponsor Jazz Fest West in San Dimas, July 21- 22.
