25th- 28th April 2013 sees the Sundance Film Festival return to London's 02


arena for a second year, to entertain visitors and locals alike



The Sundance Film Festival was founded by Robert Redford, in Utah, in 1978, and has
been showcasing small-budget, independent films from outside the Hollywood system since
then. It quickly became one of the most well-renowned film festivals in the world, and is
now returning to London for a second year. Millennium & Copthorne Hotels has six hotels in

Feature films showing over the four days include 'Blood Brother', a documentary about
the thousands of Indian children living with HIV, which successfully walks the line
between informative, uplifting and devastating. Also featuring will be 'Blackfish', a film
examining whether killer whales should be kept in captivity and 'Metro Manila', a
fast-paced action thriller set in the centre of the poverty-stricken capital of the
Philippines.



There will also be a 'shorts' programme, filmmaker question & answer sessions after
each screening, live music each night and panel discussions. Discussions will include 'The
Art of the Score: An Afternoon with David Arnold', the Musical Director of Casino Royale,
Godzilla and London's 2012 Olympic Games, and 'Senses of Humor/Humour: The Art of Comedy'
where a group of UK and US comedians battle it out to be the funniest!



A special event will be taking place on the opening night of the festival

& answer session after the screening of their documentary 'History of the Eagles-Part
One', which covers the history of the band in their own words. Jimmy Carr is also set to
make an appearance later on in the week, to moderate an extended question & answer session
with director and screenwriter Mike Birbiglia.
