"Dive House Union" has slated a benefit concert for Thursday, January 24th at 9:00 p.m. at The Thunderbird Café, located at 4023 Butler Street, in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville section. A $5.00 donation will be asked at the door and proceeds will support The Salvation Army and WTAE TV's Project Bundle-Up.
Hailing from Buffalo New York, "Dive House Union" is comprised of four members from "The Todd Eberwine Band" and two from "Beautiful Bones," bringing their influences together into a soul shaking musical experience. They combine a roots vibe, driving rhythms and melodic lines with the spontaneity and energy of a jam band. Their debut CD "Live at Kleinhans" was recently selected by a panel of judges for submission to International Blues Challenge for the Best Self-Produced CD Competition.
