New Age Rap Song Gives Listeners a Fresh Take on The End of the Mayan Calendar

New Age Rap Song Gives Listeners a Fresh Take on The End of the Mayan Calendar

Rapper J.Walker's ode to famed December 21, 2012 date ignores apocalyptic predictions in favor of positive transformation.

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Aquarian Shift has been called by many the first New Age rap song. Rapper J.Walker is an artist who has always lived life metaphysically minded. When presented Eric Rankin's novel "The Aquarians," J.Walker wrote a song which speaks to the book's theme of hope, magic and synchronicity ushered in on December 21, 2012.

The Aquarian Shift explores the possibility that the end of the Mayan Calendar is the beginning of a new consciousness. J.Walker says, "December 21 isn't the end of the world but the beginning of a new reality, one where we will focus on peace and love, where imagination and creativity will be valued more than ever and the old ways of the Pisces age will take a back seat to the Aquarian energy."

While many are preparing for some type of Armageddon-like scenario starting December 21, J.Walker is confident that the only real change we can expect is one that brings us closer to a peaceful world. He hopes his song will become the soundtrack to the best that is yet to come.
