WICT, Stanford Graduate School of Business Launch Senior Executive Summit

Master Class Program Targets the Cable Industry's Most Senior Women Executives

CHANTILLY, Va., Nov. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) is partnering with the Stanford Graduate School of Business to launch the WICT Senior Executive Summit (SES) in spring 2013, replacing the previous senior summit sponsored by WICT. This new offering is open to select top-level executives committed to a master class level of learning. SES combines the excellence of Stanford's top-rated business school with the power of WICT's proven leadership development programs.

The program will take place March 10-14, 2013, at Stanford's Knight Management Center in Palo Alto, CA. The curriculum will incorporate customized content delivered on campus at Stanford, and each participant will receive a certificate of continuing education through the Stanford Graduate School of Business. The class size will be very limited, and interested applicants must apply through their company's human resources department. The first round of company-approved registrations must be received by December 17, 2012.

"As WICT has grown with the industry, so too has the experience level of our membership," said Maria E. Brennan, CAE, WICT President & CEO. "There is now a need for an educational offering for the most senior women in the industry. Therefore, we are proud to partner with the Stanford Graduate School of Business to provide this remarkable development opportunity."

WICT's Senior Executive Summit is designed exclusively for the most experienced women in the industry - those who possess a minimum of 15 years of executive management experience at the Senior Vice President to C-suite level of their careers (or equivalency thereof). Selected participants will gather with their peers and focus on issues relevant to strategic leadership and top-level development in a collaborative learning environment.
