Jack Tempchin was originally signed by Clive Davis as a member of the Funky Kings to Arista Records. He has contributed a total of five songs recorded by the Eagles. He's co-written a dozen hits with Glenn Frey for Frey's solo career, including 'Smuggler's Blues' and 'You Belong To The City' for the original 'Miami Vice' TV show and the theme song for "Thelma and Louise."
