Recent Cinema From Spain Film Series 2012 Announces Full Program: "UNIT 7," "I WANT YOU," "WRINKLES," "WINNING STREAK," "7 DAYS IN HAVANA" and "A PUERTA FRIA"

MIAMI, Oct. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- EDEGA (Audio-Visual Producers' Rights Management Association), the OlympiaTheater at theGusman Center for the Performing Arts and the Miami International Film Festival of Miami Dade College are announcing the full program of critically acclaimed Spanish films that the Recent Cinema from Spain Series II will be screening this November 8 - 12, in Miami for its second consecutive year.

The four day series will premiere six of Spain's most recognized films of the year including Alberto Rodriguez's crime drama UNIT 7 (GRUPO 7), and Fernando Gonzalez Molina's coming-of-age romance drama, I WANT YOU (TENGO GANAS DE TI) the sequel to THREE STEPS ABOVE HEAVEN, a selection from last year's Recent Cinema from Spain Film Series), both starring Spanish star Mario Casas. Also included is Ignacio Ferrera's stunning animated feature and internationally awarded, WRINKLES (ARRUGAS), based on Paco Roca's comic of the same title. Also showing will be the U.S. premiere of 7 DAYS IN HAVANA (7 DIAS EN LA HABANA) directed by seven international directors including Benicio del Toro and Julio Medem which debuted at Cannes Film Festival 2012, as well as the U.S. premiere of COLD CALL (A PUERTA FRIA) starring American actor Nick Nolte andSpanish actress Maria Valverde. Kicking off the series will be an opening night red carpet gala on Thursday, November 8, 2012 immediately followed by a VIP reception.

Recent Cinema from Spain Series II Series Pass and ticket holders will enjoy nightly premieres at the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for Performing Arts (174 East Flagler Street Miami, FL 33131) as well as participate in Q&A sessions with filmmakers and cast members.
