Wanderlust Festival Welcomes Winter with Year-Round Expansion to Chile and Hawai'i

Renowned yoga & music festival reveals new destinations for 2013

NEW YORK, Oct. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Wanderlust Festival, the one-of-a-kind yoga and music festival set within nature's most inspiring scenery, announced today that its season will kick-off early in 2013, with the first-ever Wanderlust Chile and Wanderlust O'ahu. After an unparalleled year of growth in 2012, with Wanderlust events reaching 46,000 attendees across North America, the two new events will mark the beginning of a year-round series, holding Wanderlust's place as the fastest growing event of its kind in the world.

We couldn't be more excited to expand our season to some of the world's most breathtaking locations - the North Shore of O'ahu and the Andes Mountains of Chile."

Wanderlust Chile will kick off the 2013 season on February 15 - 17, taking the music and yoga phenomenon to South America for the first-time ever. Yogis will gather in Termas de Chillan, long known for its famous thermal hot springs and located just past Chile's beautiful wine region. Bringing together the Chilean and international yoga communities, Wanderlust Chile will offer up a distinctive local flavor, from regional foods and renowned Chilean wines to homegrown music and majestic yoga classes. Wanderlust Chile will be produced in partnership with local event and music production companies Brujula Verde and Trucko Producciones.

February 28 - March 3, 2013 will mark the debut of Wanderlust O'ahu, a delightful new spin that takes the core of the festival and adds more than a dash of surf. Situated seaside at the fabled North Shore's exquisite Turtle Bay Resort, the new festival boasts an impressive roster of local talent, including world-famous surfing legend Gerry Lopez and North Shore surf pro Rochelle Ballard alongside its incredible lineup of top mainland teachers, from Shiva Rea and Baron Baptiste to Eoin Finn and Schuyler Grant. Nighttime will feature live music by ALO, John Cruz, DJ Drez & more.

Four additional Wanderlust Festivals will round out the year, with dates and locations announced in early 2013.
