Patacca Guides Two Young Ladies Towards Their Dream of Becoming Actresses

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Long-time actor, host and voiceover veteran Brian Patacca will be guiding two young ladies towards their dream of becoming professional actresses this Saturday, October 27, on MTV's most recent adaptation of the Emmy award-winning documentary-style series "MADE": "MADE #DreamBigger."

Navigating through the business of acting is a difficult one, where the stereotype of most actors also being waiters or working retail is very true, and most end up being just another extra in the crowd. Patacca lends his guidance, after years of acting experience, to two young ladies hoping to hit it big in Hollywood. When MTV approached Cleveland native Patacca with the opportunity to help two fellow Ohioans, he couldn't turn down the offer. "Being able to help these very young ladies carve out lives amidst the tremendous highs and lows of the industry, not to mention a brand new big city - bring it on! I don't take this rare opportunity lightly and I can't wait to share my business, and my expertise with the world."

Patacca is co-founder of the Actor Salon, an endeavor to help thousands of aspiring actors learn how to both improve their natural abilities, and navigate through the sometimes harrowing journey of making it big. Actor Salon hosts intimate, weekly Actor Accountability Salons where, through expert career and life coaching (in addition to dynamic cross-talk), focuses artists on balancing their professional goals and personal growth.

Patacca credits his background for much of his coaching intuition to a Northwestern University Theatre Degree, marketing and business skills from Serino Coyne Advertising Agency and career consulting around the globe with TVI Actors Studio. His experience combined with his curiosity, undying enthusiasm, bossy know-how and generous empathy make him a natural coach. He continues to hone his skills with ongoing professional life coach training at The Coaches Training Institute (CTI).

As well as life and career coaching, Brian Patacca works as an actor, television host and spokesperson and is a contributing expert to Backstage's advice column.

Emilly wants to turn her talent into a successful career in Hollywood by being MADE into an actress. But when the industry doesn't show her the love she's hoping for, she'll have to turn her focus away from her spotlight-loving best friend and build her own self-confidence in the face of rejection.
