BIRMINGHAM, Mich., Sept. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Michigan F.A.S.H. Fest presents The Premiere Festival in downtown Birmingham's Shain Park on September 15, 2012. This is the final for the three-day event for Michigan F.A.S.H. Fest 2012.

This 10am-5pm free event is for all ages and will showcase on many platforms
F.=Fashion, A.=Art, S.=Sound, H.=History.
FASHION; Mainstage will feature a futuristic fashion forward accessory trend runway showcase. An exciting "Head to Head" hats competition will highlight innovative Michigan milliners. Nationally renowned jewelry artist, Barbara Boz, will showcase a collection of her exquisite pieces. A Rebel, Rock, Recycle runway show of couture fashions styled by Deante J. Simon with his creative, edgy flare and an "On the Edge" makeup artistry showcase by Ikhonic Brand will be featured. A tribute to Detroit Rock will be in focus with the renowned and multi-talented Meridith Lorde.
ART; Interactive experiential installations will be featured throughout the festival.
For example; Walk through a miniature collaborative cityscape of Detroit where buildings created from notable Michigan artists are available for purchase, explore under water in the Great Lakes with a hidden object game and more.
Ticketed: puppet shows and puppet making workshops.
Good food will be at food alley featuring a "round up" of gourmet food trucks. Festival favorite will be awarded in a culinary arts competition chosen by a distinguished panel of judges and integrated public voting.
Winner of the 3D Food Sculpture Competition will be showcased.
SOUND; Mainstage entertainment will feature a plethora of talented Michigan musicians. Motor City Brass Quintet featuring John Rutherford, who tours with Bob Seger, will open the day's event welcoming everyone to the festival. Elijah J who tours nationally with Kidz Bop and played the young Simba in the Disney production of "The Lion King" will be performing with dancers. Sean Forbes, an accomplished deaf rapper and co-founder of D-PAN, Riley McCurry and the Fiddle Yard Folks, The Blue Collar Boys featuring Tony Muggs, Sin Hielo featuring Sean Blackman, Wayne Gerard and Rick Beamon and more will play throughout the day.

Michigan F.A.S.H. Fest supports the mission of Forgotten Harvest food rescue. The festival will be ASL- Accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing community.
