KMEX Univision 34 Celebrates 50th Anniversary

WHAT: KMEX Univision 34 will be celebrating
50 years of serving the Hispanic
community of Los Angeles. The No. 1
station in the country, regardless of
language, KMEX Univision 34 has been a
pillar in the community, providing
award-winning news coverage and
community engagement to Los Angeles
Latinos.

The 50th Anniversary celebration will
include an event highlighting upcoming
fall programming as well as a gala
featuring today's hottest Univision
talent and other celebrities. Pepe
Aguilar and Mariachi Sol de Mexico de
Jose Hernandez are scheduled for
special performances during the gala.

WHO: National news anchors Maria Elena
Salinas and Barbara Bermudo to host
the event along with KMEX's Leon
Krauze, Carlos Alvarez, Fernanda Kelly
and General Manager and Senior Vice
President Alberto Mier y Teran.
