HOSTED BY DALE SEEVER, WITH GUEST CURATORS MORGAN SPURLOCK, JIMMY DIRESTA, KURT BRAUNOHLER, JESSIE ARRINGTON, BUFFI JASHANMAL WITH LIVE MUSIC BY THE ALLEN OLDIES BAND FROM HOUSTON, TEXAS

NEW YORK, Sept. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --Film Biz Recycling, (FBR) a Brooklyn not-for-profit organization that diverts film set materials to local charities and operates a prop shop and creative reuse center, is holding its second annual "Lights Camera Auction" event on November 9(th), 2012, at the Bell House in Brooklyn. This event promises to be an exceptional night, with a live and silent auction of quirky and hilarious prop collections by local celebrities as well as electrifying live music.

This year's festivities are hosted by Gowanus funnyman Dale Seever of DaleRadio.com. Auction bidders will compete to acquire one of our many amazing items or curated lots of repurposed merchandise. Our star curators this year include Academy Award-nominated filmmaker and activist Morgan Spurlock; "Dirty Money" co-host/designer-builder Jimmy DiResta; comedian/writer/producer and host of IFC's game show "Bunk" Kurt Braunohler; design guru/TED talker Jesse Arrington; and Project Runway anti-designer Buffi Jashanmal.

Live music will be provided by live-wire legends of the Lone Star music scene TheAllen Oldies Band from Houston, Texas. Led by Allen Hill, the High Priest of the Oldies, this band delivers vintage classics from the '50s and '60s with a barnburner of a stage show that has to be seen to be believed.

Event attendees can purchase local vendor wares such as $1 Brooklyn Brewery beverages, $2 tacos from Oaxaca and $2 sliders from Root Hill Burger.

This event will raise funds to continue the mission and operations of Film Biz Recycling, which operates an 11,000-square-foot reuse facility in Gowanus, Brooklyn, and has diverted over 600,000 pounds from landfills as part of its mission of preventing pollution, creating green jobs and aiding our community via the reuse and distribution of film set materials.
