NEW YORK, Aug. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- For the first time ever -- and just a day before the nationwide release of The Oogieloves in the BIG Balloon Adventure, the first-ever interactive movie for families- Producer Kenn Viselman, and his loveable film stars, Goobie, Zoozie, and Toofie, will be speaking via a live webcast. The event, to be held Tuesday, August 28(th) at 12:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time, offers unprecedented access to the creator and his colorful characters, allowing participants to learn first-hand about the mission to reinvent the movie-going experience by submitting questions via Twitter at hashtag #OogielovesLive.

"Instead of giving our children popcorn and soda and asking them to sit still during a 90 minute movie, we looked at the experience from a child's point of view," says Viselman of his 83-minute G-rated film. As the former marketer behind such classic preschool hits as Teletubbies and Thomas the Tank Engine, his approach is to "let children be children" ...and yes that includes getting up and moving around.

This film - basically a movie and a live show rolled into one -- features visual and auditory cues which invite the audience to "move" the action along, allowing parents and kids to interact not only with the characters, but also with one another. The fun and fantastic adventure follows the three Oogieloves - Goobie, Zoozie and Toofie - as they set out to rescue five magical golden balloons in time for their good friend Schluufy's surprise birthday party. The film also features Toni Braxton (Rosalie Rosebud), Cloris Leachman (Dottie Rounder), Jaime Pressly and Christopher Lloyd (Lola and Lero Sombrero), Chazz Palminteri (Milky Marvin), and Cary Elwes (Bobbly Wobbly).

It's not every movie that comes with its own Parent Guide (www.oogieloves.com) but The Oogieloves in the BIG Balloon Adventure has one, written by esteemed educator Faith Rogow, Ph.D. That's how strongly Viselman and his team believe in the importance of family interaction and entertainment.
