LOS ANGELES, Aug. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- IC Places, Inc. (OTCQB: ICPA) is pleased to announce its Punch TV Network is now broadcasting in Houston Texas.

It was less than a year ago that Punch TV began broadcasting its signal to over-the-air viewers in various cities nationwide. Since that time, Punch TV has been steadily increasing the number of households served. In October, 2011 Punch could be accessed by approximately 7 million households. It was less than a month ago that the Punch TV Network became part of IC Places, Inc. In July Punch TV added 10 million households in the Free to Air market space. Today, as of this press release, Punch TV is available in more than 40 million homes. This represents a growth rate of 328.8% in less than one year. And, most recently, Punch TV added even more households when KVQT in Houston, Texas made the decision to air Punch TV as digital station Channel 21.5.

KVQT, an independent television station was initially established in February 2002 by C. Dowen Johnson, Owner and Founder. "KVQT is excited to become Punch TV's newest affiliate. Punch TV is a unique brand that will entertain Houston, Texas households for years to come," states C. Dowen Johnson.

KVQT-LD is a television station broadcasting locally in the Houston, Texas area in digital on UHF channel 21. Originally airing on channel 24, it moved to channel 21 in 2005. The call letters, KVQT, have been used since August 2000. The station was purchased by C. Dowen Johnson in February 2002 and remains under his ownership.
