PES Project Concept
Human evolution represents the history of mobility. Cars bring our mobility to life, yet too often, complex technology dominates the conversation when we talk about cars, rather than the simple joy of movement. TOYOTA and STUDIO4C have created an animation series that follows a curious alien exploring the joy of driving and the importance of safety. "PES" is featured at the Expo. We hope you have a chance to join us there to spread the message of PES (Peace Eco Smile).

Los Angeles Anime Expo Venue
The venue is packed with anime fans and cosplayers from all over the world. Many of them wear colorful costumes of popular animation characters. In addition to booth presentations and anime shops, there are many other events at the venue such as voice-over talent shows and panel discussion with pop culture guru Danny Choo.

TOYOTA X STUDIO4C Booth
Many people have come to visit the PES booth watching the screening of the first two episodes of PES along with specially prepared footages. Promotional magnets are given away to the attendees and there are additional rewards as well. Two models wearing SOMARTA (Japanese fashion designer) dress and the PES character "Su" walk around inside the venue and have attracted a lot of attention. Visitors include Rob MacKinnon, CTO of the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation, and Danny Choo.
