America's top morning radio show to bring pop culture wit and wisdom to nightly airwaves
LAS COLINAS, Texas, July 19, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Kidd Kraddick already entertains millions of listeners every morning on the radio. Now he's bringing his morning show's infectious style and unique perspective to TV in a new, nationally syndicated entertainment show called "Dish Nation."

Set to premier on September 10th, Dish Nation features drive-time radio teams from five cities across the country doing what they do best: talking and joking about the day's highest-profile pop culture news. The entire cast from "Kidd Kraddick in the Morning" - Kidd, Kellie Rasberry, Big Al, J-SI and Jenna - will be featured on the half-hour program, which will run during access and late-fringe time slots.
"When I saw the pilot episodes for Dish Nation, my first thought was, 'Why didn't I think of that?'" Kraddick continued. "It's such a great concept because radio in general does a fantastic job making celebrity gossip funny and entertaining. They had already assembled a great talent line-up, so I'm honored that our show has been included. I promise to try really hard not to screw it up for everyone."
A production of Twentieth Television and Studio City, Dish Nation is cleared in more than 95% of the country, with FOX owned-and-operated stations as the launch group. The show will also air on stations from the Cox, CBS, Gannett, Raycom, Tribune, Sinclair, Capitol, Meredith and local TV broadcast groups. Dish Nation is the name of the show and is not affiliated with Dish Network or any other cable provider.
In addition to the unique perspectives and laugh-out-loud humor of the "Kidd Kraddick in the Morning" crew, Dish Nation will feature popular radio teams from Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta and Detroit. The nightly program will provide a fresh take on entertainment news shows, much like Warner Bros.' TMZ was when it launched in September 2007.
"These days, everybody is getting the same stories at the same time. It's personalities like Kraddick and his team that will provide the attitude and humor to distinguish Dish Nation from all other gossip shows," said Stephen Brown, Twentieth senior vice president of development. "On Dish Nation, it's more about the hilarious commentary than the story itself."
