On July 11th( )in New York City, DJ Tommy Virtue dominated the Malibu Black Beats Battle to score the summer gig of a lifetime: a chance to be the opening act for well-known DJ Reach during the Malibu Music Invasion Tour. In true Malibu style, a battle was waged that featured the country's hottest DJs scratching their way to be selected as DJ Reach's opening act. Through a partnership with THEFUTURE.FM, original tracks were uploaded by DJs and voted on by fans through the Malibu Facebook page. Three DJs were then selected to perform in the ultimate spin off battle in NYC on July 11th, where DJ Tommy Virtue was officially declared the victor. In addition to the gig, DJ Tommy Virtue also received three cash installments and a new set of DJ equipment to amplify his killer beats across the country during the Music Invasion Tour.
