Starburst® Candy Presents Hot Chelle Rae Surprise VEVO GO Show
See it First for 24 Hours at Facebook.com/Starburst
CHICAGO, April 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Starburst candy is offering fans an exclusive preview of Hot Chelle Rae's VEVO GO Show at Facebook.com/Starburst, 24 hours before it goes live on VEVO.
Presented by Starburst, VEVO GO Shows are surprise, impromptu live concerts in venues meaningful to the artist. Hot Chelle Rae's GO Show features the band performing a unique stripped-down, acoustic version of their hit single, "Honestly," in their hometown, Nashville. After leaking clues to their whereabouts on Twitter, Hot Chelle Rae revealed the exact GO Show location moments before the pop-up concert began. Backlit by the stained-glass of the Ryman Auditorium, the GO Show reveals a new, never-before-seen side of Hot Chelle Rae.
The Nashville natives chose the Ryman because of its legacy within Nashville's music scene and what it symbolized to them growing up with aspirations of becoming successful musicians. "Everyone knows that the Ryman auditorium is one of the great concert venues in the world. So using it as a backdrop for a surprise show was really special to us," said lead singer and front man Ryan Follese.
Much like the solid and juicy sides of Starburst, fans can discover the many sides of Hot Chelle Rae and other artists by viewing behind-the-scenes photos and interviews from their GO Show at Facebook.com/Starburst.
Hot Chelle Rae's GO Show is the second in a series of eight 2012 performances (the first featured Demi Lovato). Be sure to 'like' the Starburst Facebook page to view archived videos and photos from past GO Shows and get exclusive news about future appearances.
