AccentHealth Continues to Innovate at the Point of Care with Expanded Suite of Condition Specific Networks
Enhanced Customization Provides Greater Engagement Of Specific Patient Communities
NEW YORK, April 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- AccentHealth, America's largest health education television network, has expanded its condition-specific networks to include eight new offerings. The announcement comes following the introduction of AccentHealth's initial nine condition-specific networks in May, 2011.
The new condition-specific networks, defined as networks where physicians are actively treating patients for specific health concerns, include: Arthritis Pain, COPD, Smoking Cessation, Gout, Low-T, Multiple Sclerosis, Osteoporosis and Overactive Bladder. These new networks build on the success of AccentHealth's nine other condition specific networks; Allergy, Mental Health, Asthma, Diabetes, GERD, Rheumatology, Heart Health, Men's Health and Senior Women's Health.
"The launch of our first nine condition-specific networks last May has been extremely well received," said Daniel A. Stone, CEO, AccentHealth. "We are excited to further utilize our digital technology to expand the opportunities available to our physicians, patients and marketers."
Complementing its four cornerstone demographic networks of General (Primary Care), OB/GYN, Pediatric and Silver (Senior Health), AccentHealth's portfolio now consists of 21 network opportunities which will continue to grow.
"Our platform is perfectly aligned with how clients in the health and wellness space have evolved in engaging specific consumer groups - more targeted, more customizable and more interactive opportunities," said Edith Hodkinson, President, Media Division, AccentHealth. "Our digital flexibility provides a direct and proven connection to distinct patient communities when and where they matter."
