WXYZ Airs Live Interactive Town Hall Meeting Featuring Governor Snyder and Mayor Bing

A Detroit 2020 Special, "The Challenge of Change," airs Thursday, March 29, 7pm

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Michigan Governor Rick Snyder and Detroit Mayor Dave Bing will meet face-to-face to tackle the issue of Detroit's financial future on a special Detroit 2020 live interactive town hall meeting on Thursday, March 29th, from 7-8 p.m. on WXYZ-TV Channel 7. The special, "The Challenge of Change," will allow viewers to engage in the conversation through social media, and ask questions of the Governor and Mayor on Facebook, Twitter and on-line.

This special comes at a critical time for Detroit, as city and state officials debate plans for the financially troubled city that could include the appointment of an emergency manager. "The Challenge of Change," will offer a live forum for viewers to participate in a dialogue about the fiscal challenges facing the city.
