HOLLYWOOD, Calif., March 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Suzanne DeLaurentiis Productions and Allegiance Films (a Houston-based production company) are proud to announce that shooting will begin for the $20 million action war-drama "Allegiance" in Los Angeles this summer.

This riveting war-drama explores four men - each from different cultural and religious backgrounds - who enlist in the United States military and must learn to overcome prejudice. As the story unfolds, these men are brought together for a crucial covert operation in Afghanistan. Unless their inherent prejudices are overcome the operation will not succeed; and in their own personal journeys towards acceptance, these four men learn that whatever your background, when you fight for America, you are first and foremost an American.
