LOS ANGELES, March 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Military singers are given a chance to come to Los Angeles and shine in the newest singing sensation: Stars in Stripes. This original-song-only platform places branches of the military against one another as America is the ultimate judge and a portion of the money raised from digital downloads goes directly to support American Military families in need.

Stars in Stripes will open the season with a one-hour special, airing on an undisclosed network. Negotiations are currently in the works with celebrities sympathetic to the cause to host the show.

As America finds a new star among the military ranks, families in need will be touched by the financial support provided by a portion of the money raised each week with the show.
