Benefit Concert Set to Rock Small Florida Town
PALM HARBOR, Fla., Feb. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Rock Legends and other award-winning national touring acts will take center stage at the Yard Festival Grounds at Peggy O'Neills in Palm Harbor on March 3, 2012. Palm Charity Music Fest will be raising money for various local charities. The show will be featuring members of such legendary bands as the Allman Brothers, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Outlaws, Ghost Riders, Pure Prairie League, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Henry Paul Band. Opening bands will include National Recording Artist Lindsay Taylor along with Sound Express, WD Han, Al Torchia & The Tattered Saints, Terry Cole and the Honkytonk Hitmen, Jimmy Sparks Band, George Marshall, and Teak Wood.
"I am thrilled to be able to help local Charities as many are in great need of support," said National Recording Artist, Lindsay Taylor. "It's a blessing that so many great artists are getting together for this great event."
The concert will be donating funds to local food pantries, disabled veterans homes and a group that aids in the fight against cancer. "What better way to support the local charities than a music fest with some of the greatest artists from across the last few decades," said AAG Booking Manager, Alec Vidmar.
The event will be hosted by Lynne Austin, the Original Hooters Girl, Former Playboy Playmate and currently the host of the Hooters Nation Morning Show on 1010 Sports AM.
Doors will open at 12:31pm on March 3rd 2012 with music starting at 1pm.
