Autism Society and Flying Pig Ranch Studios Create Video Public Service Announcements for National Autism Awareness Month This April

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. and BETHESDA, Md., Feb. 9,( )2012 /PRNewswire/ -- A new series of public service announcements on behalf of the Autism Society of America will seek to broaden the discussion about autism this April, focusing on issues of autism and employment, early intervention and access to services. Daniel Heinlein, host of the upcoming television/Internet series "I Am Autistic," has been selected to narrate a series of 30-second videos that feature real families living with autism. The announcements will be produced by the award-winning FPR Studios in West Palm Beach, Florida.

"Daniel Heinlein is perfect to represent the Autism Society this spring, not only because he is on the autism spectrum himself, but because he is a living example of someone who is successful despite the challenges of his autism," said Scott Badesch, Autism Society President and Chief Operating Officer. Not only will the spots be seen on television and online, they will also be presented in more than 300 AMC Theaters across America during the month of April.
