their audio-visual work.
The panel for the first year is made up of several names from the world of cinema,
literature and cooperation such as Maria de Medeiros, Isabel Coixet and Carlos Jiménez
Renjifo, representative of the UN, among others.
The competition is open to all adults, and consists of creating audio-visual pieces of

The We Art Water Film Festival also has the support of various organizations. At the
presentation Afsane Bassir Pour, director of the United Nations Regional Information
Centre (UNRIC), stated: "Through initiatives such as the We Art Water Film Festival, we
want to show world leaders, during the Río+20 conference, the kind of future the people
want. We need "artivists", activist-artists to help us spread the message about the
importance of water in the world, not through powerful words but simply with images."
