Gaiam and Pachamama Alliance Team Up to Produce and Launch "Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream" on DVD
NEW YORK, Nov. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --Gaiam, Inc., the leading distributor of lifestyle media, today announced its partnership with the Pachamama Alliance, an organization dedicated to empowering indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest to preserve their lands and culture, to release Awakening the Dreamer,Changing the Dream on DVD. This DVD brings the renowned Pachamama symposium to homes across the world and provides a transformative, educational experience which empowers participants to respond to humanity's current situation with action and informed, grounded optimism about its future.
Traditionally, the Symposium is a half-day workshop designed to motivate and inspire people to take action to foster a fair, peaceful and sustainable future. This workshop has attracted more than 100,000 people in 60 countries and 13 different languages and the numbers are expected to rise as it becomes available for the first time on DVD.
